Když před pár měsíci z české Asociace fotografů přišli s nápadem, že bych jako čerstvý držitel titulu QEP mohl poslat fotografie do právě probíhající soutěže, říkal jsem si, že mám smůlu. Žádná zvířecí kategorie tam nebyla. Ale nedalo mi to, našel jsem tři snímky do kategorie Landscape. A jak to dopadlo? Na konci listopadu si letím do Bruselu pro cenu za první místo.
Sice pořád tvrdím, že focení není atletika, aby se v něm nesmyslně soutěžilo, ale myslím, že je dobré využít každé příležitosti k prezentování své práce.
Drobným škraloupem na uděleném ocenění byla absence diakritiky v mém jméně na diplomu, ale už se jim do druhé verze podařilo háček a čárku dostat.

QEP - Qualified European Photographer
Fotograf Ondřej Prosický se ve své tvorbě zaměřuje na fotografování živé přírody. Na snímcích chce nápaditě zaznamenat chování zvířat v jejich přirozeném prostředí. Fotografické workshopy a expedice zaměřené na přírodu organizuje od roku 2006, snímky pravidelně publikuje v médiích a má za sebou více než dvě desítky autorských výstav. K jeho největším úspěchům patří účast ve finále prestižní fotografické soutěže BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Členem Asociace profesionální fotografů České republiky je od roku 2009. V květnu 2011 udělila Evropská federace profesionálních fotografů Ondřejovi Prosickému titul QEP (Qualified European Photographer) v kategorii Wildlife Photography a v témže roce získal v Bruselu ocenění FEP Landscape Golden Camera.
